  • The first fundamental tenet of creating an investment portfolio is to diversify so your dividend stocks should be balanced with a portion going to growth stocks
  • Good video. I agree that dividends as a source of income can be a strong pillar of a retirement plan. It would be good to have a video in the future that touches on some of the tax benefits of dividends. In non registered accounts, dividend income is taxed differently than interest and capital gains. It would be interesting to hear some case studies on how that all comes together for someone retiring with a mix of registered and non-registered assets plus CPP and maybe OAS.
  • Looks like you partnered with a great asset manager. I am kicking myself for not buying CN years ago.
  • I’m still amazed here in the UK financial planning ( life skills regarding finance) is not taught in schools
  • Hey Adam, love your videos. Very informative and just what I was looking for. I had a quick question for you - any tips on where to invest RRSP? I contribute to RRSP but I feel like it's just sitting there not earning anything and I've been speaking to a few banks about where to invest it. Somehow i feel like they are selling me on their own products which I don't like. Any thoughts? Can you take this up as a video suggestion? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

I want to get into this. Where do I start? Our money is sitting stagnant and 70 is on the horizon. Is it too late?
  • Can you please do a video on Personal Pension Plan (PPP) I have a medical Corp with most of the money invested to use in future for retirement I have also maxed out my TFSA, RRSP and my child RESP. Is it beneficial to change my RRSP TO PPP? Lot of fees involved, is it worth it?
  • Is this a strategy you'd recommend for someone like me who's just starting out? I'm 30 but I want to be generating a high level of passive income by the time I retire. My plan is to focus on long term investments with consistent dividends and capital gains and I plan to reinvest the yields right back into the market. Thoughts?
