This movie wasn't trying to be Deadpool, it was trying to be Guardians of the Galaxy. That's probably why they tried to make the characters act like they're all close to each other despite barely even knowing each other: One of Guardians' main themes is "found family." It also explains all of the licensed music.
  • I hate hate hate when movies pretend like all the main characters are friends when we know for a fact that they only met like a day ago. I don't care how they try to justify it, it always destroys my immersion, immediately.

It's ironic how there are so many stories of Jared Leto being awful to his co-workers for the sake of "method acting" and then he can't even act

There is NO WAY that scene with deadshot had “black skinhead” playing 💀

It feels almost like the movie was edited and put together by a company that specializes in making trailers.

I always said "Why is everybody hating on this film, I really liked it!" But then I realized that I couldn't remember one line of dialogue or scene

Another funny thing is that the Enchantress's brother is called "Incubus" ... which is the male equivalent of the succubus. He's a sex demon, but there's literally nothing about his character that plays into that so something tells me whoever named him that didn't even know what they were doing 😭

It really sucks because the Enchantress had a really cool design, as well as some pretty cool moments with special effects, like her transformation scene, and the actress even did a good job at moving her body in these creepy, unnatural ways when she was the Enchantress, but then she barely does anything in the entire movie

“I hate when a movie starts a rap song to introduce the black character” that was hilarious

"She's crazier than him, and more fearless" 15 seconds later: "PUDDIN I CAN'T SWIIIIIIIIM"
  • @Oxiitocyn
Right after the Kanye song Marcus says that this might be the first racist soundtrack and I'm still trying to comprehend how that aged so well

As a Mohawk dude you have no idea how pissed I was to see a native guy put in a massive motion picture just to die as soon as they touch down
  • @BREADSWORD
Suicide Squad boldly asks "what if the worst person you know's Spotify playlist got turned into a movie?" and I think that's beautiful
  • @MegaKnight2012
So if this continuity's Batman is willing to kill, why is this Joker still alive?
  • @KassFireborn
"I hope that more of them die [in the new movie] just to show they actually are expendable." How good was that opening sequence for you, goddamn.
  • Thank you for acknowledging how diffrent Harley is when written by a woman compared to a man and how PHENOMENAL Margot is in the role
  • @Ashen-Crow
My favorite idiotic decision of this movie is that the whole point of the suicide squad was to have a team of shady people you could use to do shady business and don't be blamed for it, and what's their first mission? Saving the world from the blue laser in the sky
  • @Thafnine
suicide squad is one of the films i ever watched
  • @keyboundDragon
I think THE Suicide Squad did an amazing job with giving an excuse for Harley's inclusion, she was on the team that was supposed to die, but she ended up being one of the biggest assets to the real team once she was rescued

HQ being upset that he killed innocent kids was actually one of the good parts for her character. That's how she is to a weird degree. She's midfight with Black Canary when she realizes she is preggers and literally will not fight. She's twisted from her old non-insane self but loves kids still and wants them to be safe. I'm betting that line is left over from the good drama we did not get.
