Everyone was talking about that stupid slap BUT this was the most heartwarming piece of the night. Lady Gaga showed such grace and class in taking care of Liza. As a grown man I am not ashamed to say I shed a tear.

If it wasn't for Will Smith's slap that overshadowed everything, this was one of the best moments from this year's Oscars. When Gaga leaned over to whisper to Liza: "I gotcha", that was such a beautiful moment. Say what you want about Gaga, the way she respects and treats her elders like Tony Bennett and Minnelli, it says a lot about her humility and compassion.

What a beautiful moment. Lady Gaga handled this like a true professional. Her compassion and love was so evident. She really does appreciate the legends. And hats off to Liza for giving it her all. Getting old isn't for sissies. But she showed up and she tried. This should be the part of the Oscars everyone is talking about. Not that other nonsense.

Lady Gaga knew how to help Liza without being condescending. When she lent in to Liza and said ‘I got you’. She had a class and care about her that is so rare. What a way to honour and respect a legend. This was the best and most important moment of the night.

Not much of a fan of anything involving Hollywood but this moment deserves far more attention and praise than that Will Smith Chris Rock mess. Lady Gaga showed so much class and heart and Liza Minnelli should be considered a national freakin treasure.
