  • Why didn't you find out when he applied for resignation from the guard?
  • @amrak-8401
I carried in war?! Really?! This is stolen valor…
  • @graemej2599
I carried 'Weapons of War ' in terms of an M-60 machine gun, and I never left Australia.
  • Every day I am more convinced we are in simulation. The level of partisanship, the flat refusal to make a point without deflecting, making accusations, insults or lies has me convinced that the majority on here are NPC’s. Stop attaching yourself to a group and start applying some critical thinking.

RETIRED 2005,,,EX UNIT DEPLOYED IN 2006. Go look it up.

It’s pretty freaking simple. The guy retired and was not stop lossed, thus allowed to leave BEFORE the orders came through to get ready for deployment. These attacks denigrate ALL service members and are disgusting. How about you cover the routinely awful character of J D Vance and really question why he would try and spin up this BS in the first place.
  • @ClassicFIHD
I guarantee he never carried a civilian legal AR-15 at any time he was in the National Guard.
  • This isn’t going to work like it did against Kerry.
  • @billdavis7885
So the guy retired….there is no “dropping out “. Grabbing at straws is what you and the republicans are doing. The man did his job and moved on. No soldier is required to stay in. He did his replacement a favor by making room for the next guy. Look at the alternative! Vance is definitely not for the job and don’t get me started on Trump.

Hack journalism. You're glossing over the part where he said "no one should be able to buy the weapons I carried into war" when he was never deployed to war. This statement SPECIFICALLY is what Vance took issue with in his statement - making false statements in an attempt to put an exclamation point on a political stance (a blatantly unconstitutional one at that). But none of this matters. Those of us that are producers will vote for the candidate that is willing to work for us. The non-producing, net-liability members of society will vote for the socialists they hope will unjustly enrich them with money stolen from those of us that produce. Let's be real. That's where the lines are drawn this election.

Evidence shows a different time line. Also, no military in the world uses semi automatic firearms. So AR-15's are not "weapons of war". Then there's the dude who says "I wouldn't vote for him", yet defends him. WTF?
