YouTube needs more of this. Kinda tired of the supercar monotony. Look forward to more of this

I like to watch most of the video before making a comment but that Mighty Car Mods reference at 3:35 was hilarious! I’m excited to see you work your magic on this very special build! Keep up the awesome work Jared!

Good to see a full restoration for a change .... maybe it's me but there seems to be a lot of 'get the engine running, drive a few miles then just dump it in a field' videos on YouTube .... .. .
  • Don't overthink it. Take the headliner down, strip the paint from the roof, and see what you got. I would want to keep as much original metal as possible. With a little tweaking, the trunk pan is fine. Get your buddy to help as much as he can. It will come together and be badass!

Hey Jared, you've done and shown us soooo many cool projects on your channel in the past years. So, I'm absolute convinced, you'll bring this baby back on the road in "better than new condition". What I'd really reccomend for rust removal is to get a sandblasting device and afterwards covering the bare metal with epoxy primer and (minimum) a top coat. Keep your head up high! Greetings from Germany.
  • My uncle had a 70 roadrunner. It was an auto on the column with a full bench seat. I like yours better with the buckets and floor shifter.

The sad part is: you could accumulate that much rust on one of this era of cars, in 4 years, if you owned it in the snow belt. Then drove it year round. I bought a 68 Corvair that had a New Hampshire title in 1972. Being a typical 19 year old at the time, I didn't know better. It had 6" rust holes through the floor, hidden inside by carpet. The fender tops and back window frame sort of exploded in a cloud of rust particles, shortly after I got it it. It had so much unibody hidden rust, it was un-licenceable a year later.

This will be the BEST 1970 Satellite Sport on the planet! It might take some time.

My father has had and fixed up a plethora of mopars in his time. Currently a 69 post in the stable and a 69 convertible on stands that he just put a whole floor pan in. Owned both since maybe 85. Love to see the content on RRs
  • @Sizukun1
I'm always impressed when its clear you are a master mechanic doing some of these very advanced repairs and modifications. Makes my beginner restoration look like a boring afternoon for your garage!

Nightmares are dreams too. Good luck and keep going. I've been building my dream 65 Chevrolet for 38 years.
  • @Juberdingus
Dwayne delivers just enough “fug it” that I expect from this channel.
  • take your time man! little tiny steps. don't financially stress yourself. you n us will enjoy the journey 🙏🏻
  • @countswing284
All of these projects turn into more work than expected. Stay positive and it gets done when it gets done and not before. Gonna be an awesome build! Cheers! 😎👍🏎🏁🏁

I've been working on my dream car for 9 years now. Don't get discouraged! Bite off a little at a time and before you know it you will be driving it! I personally like the to repair rather then replace. Mike

Thanks for another episode chock full of all the goodness that makes TQG the best part of YouTube: you, great music choices from editor Duane, a dream car build/resurrection, education, entertainment, kindness and wisdom! Even while you’re discouraged, you’re still giving the best advice and encouragement. I hate that you’ve encountered the obstacles of poor previous repairs and more rust, but you’re absolutely right to keep on taking those small steps toward your goal. You can do it and it’s going to be an amazing forever car/dream car!
  • @jasonhazle6781
My vote is take your time. Work it into the videos on occasion because we are curious but if you skip something that you talked yourself out of you will ALWAYS know its there and it will ruin the final product. Love the channel
  • @davesnotheretv
I bought a car just because I loved the color. Makes me smile every time I see it. Totally worth it.
