The revived Meyers Manx company sent a couple very important, original beach buggies. Old Red set records, finishing a course in Baja HOURS faster than motorcycles! And continued setting records in NORRA.

Bruce Meyers himself built the second for McQueen. The Thomas Crowne Affair movie made this buggy famous with McQueen’s beach joyride.

The 3rd was designed by Stewart Reed for Meyers Manx as a more street-friendly version of the beach buggy. Reed sketched some details such as the door cut which echoes the beach buggy’s he explains.
