The Israeli Prime Minister cut short his US trip and convened emergency meetings with security officials.
And on Sunday evening, Emmanuel Macron called Netanyahu, urging him to do “everything to avoid a new escalation in the region.”
Yoav Gallant, the Israeli Defence Minister, also pledged to “hit the enemy hard,” while allies have urged restraint, warning that further escalation could lead to a full-scale “regional war.”

At some point our western politicians have to find some courage and hold Israel accountable to the same level of international law that we hold others to. This exceptionalism must end.

Eye witnesses have said that rocket was fired from the iron dome. It didn’t come from Lebanon. I hope Israel are not trying to use this to invade Lebanon cause that would be their biggest mistake

Sorry but why is the strike in Syrian occupied Golan Heights assumed to be from Hezbollah? More likely a misfiring from the Iron Dome? Why would Hezbollah strike a Syrian village whose population is Islamic and Arabic?
