  • You are doing god’s work dude. I can tell that you care about people going through it. I struggled with it my freshman year of high school and now fully recovered freshman in college. Thank you

Omg! I found the DP manual a couple of years ago and it was an AWESOME Godsend. However, I continued to feel alone as a Black woman, embarrassed that I couldn't get myself together as therapist, and convinced that I was a bad Christian. I am SOOOO grateful I found this specific video. When I tell you I relate to Latoya soooooo much! Right down to being a PK and watching A Different World! Thank you Shaun for finding people from all walks of life who've had this experience. LaToya, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU ❤

Oh my God, I laughed, I cried. I can relate so much to what that girl and you are saying. So many magnified fears and crazy intrusive and obsessive thoughts. I even thought that listening to classical music was a cause for madness. Or that I was having schizophrenia and I'd be afraid of my own friends and family and I'd end up being alone. I'm so thankful I've found your channel. On my way to recovery but still some work to do. But I'm finally hopeful! Greetings from Greece.

When she said she has a son that's 27 yrs old my jaw dropped... She looks 27 herself. What a beautiful woman omg 😭😭😭😭

Yooooooo. I was diagnosed w anxiety in June 2022 after experiencing some trauma. She really hit home about Christianity for me!! I had been OBSESSING about going to hell!! I mean driving myself CRAZY thinking about death, what happens after death, even questioning if God is real at all. Which I know is ABSOLUTELY not me. Just wow. After I was able to finally bring myself down from obsessing over that, I said "God is sitting up there laughing at me" 😭 it's SO reassuring to hear someone else, ESPECIALLY another black woman, talk about her struggle and ability overcoming that.. It's LITERALLY JUST ANXIETY (I'm still telling myself this)! It will be OK! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Latoya and Shaun!! You’re gonna help a lotta DPDR babies with this discussion. It’s so satisfying hearing my experience understood by someone else!! That’s what has been most healing for me.
  • Just finished. Amazing conversation you guys. It felt like a warm hug ❤️
  • So nice to see this Shaun!! Latoya, right on point girl!! I am now a health/Life coach who help people with anxiety disorder. I often refer Shaun to my clients because his guide has helped me in so many ways!! Shaun, as always I love your videos!
  • Phew. I had a massive panic attack in the middle of the night and watched two of these videos. They really helped bring me back down! I bought your manual and I’m working through it now ❤
  • Omg! I have the same thoughts of the sky and the universe! Omg I’m so glad I’m not alone in this! A lot of people don’t mention this fear so I thought it was just me or I had summit different or worse. 🙏🙏
  • I'm glad to find this conversation as I am having "IT" just now. I suddenly woke up from sleep as there's a lot going on in my head while sleeping and I had panic attack. I'm listening to this while it's "ongoing". Thank you very much guys, this helped me calm down. So glad to know that I am not alone in this situation. 😭
  • @englisherno
I just gotta say I'm in love with LaToya's smile, and I'm glad you've recovered dear. Stay being you! 😍 And like usual, thank you, Shaun. You're amazing.
  • Keep making these videos Shaun cause its giving us Alote of Hope to some of us who are still in the Process
  • I had a massive panic attack a year ago after facing my fear of lizards, a week after that dpdr while watching a football match.I can see the light at the light of the tunnel because i dont get panic attacks and my anxiety is gone. Thank you for this. To everyone going through this, hold on just a little bit it gets better. I wish I can get the manual in South Africa
  • Incredible. I love these. Hearing other peoples experiences is so reassuring 🙏🏻
  • @PboiStrider
Thank you so much, you have no idea how much these videos help. Thank you so much. I had a similar experience with the Christian / philosophical sort of existentialism. Deep down I know it's not the real. Like you mention in your book I KNOW but don't FEEL. This video cheered me up no end!
  • You have helped me so so much thru my dp/dr I’ve dealt with it for 8 months now and still dealing with it but I can now go and enjoy a day out and it’s faded so much although my vision is still abit weird still which I’ve gone and got so many eyetests for and they said it’s okay so I’m hoping that my double vision is jus the stress a dp/dr but anyone going thru it badly jus stay calm and don’t give up you will be okay and it will fade and it’s completely normal to convince yourself of certain things just try not to get into your head to much and you will be fine
  • Please please continue to share recovery stories, this is beyond encouraging and it makes a lot of sense! It's so reassuring when one can relate. Thank you so much for having a platform like this!🥰🥰🥰
