You tie your sneakers so that they stay on your feet. Leaving laces loose so you can tuck them in means the shoes will eventually become loose. The shoes have laces for a reason. If you want a sleeker look with casual sneakers, buy laceless ones -- Sketchers or Vans come to mind - or sneakers where the laces are just decorative.

Love the sheepskin inserts for boots….awesome find!!!…Thanks for the suggestion!!! I have several pairs of Hunter boots which I usually wear with chunky socks. That’s a definite “must have”! I also need the Peds no show sneaker socks. I have to keep my sneakers tied tightly or I will walk right out of them. I rarely find size 5 sneakers and usually have to settle for size 6 (I only like white canvas sneakers/tennis shoes), but When buying larger sizes, I have to wear a couple pairs of socks and tie them tightly to keep them from flopping. It’s not that wearing these items a certain way is wrong…just a matter of personal preference. Styles and fashion trends change almost on a monthly basis, so wear what you want and how you want. It’s beyond exhausting keeping up with the current trends and “appropriate” styles. At some point, it’ll be in trend if not for a brief moment in time! There’s enough people in the world who love pointing out what we are doing “wrong”, just be you! Perhaps a better approach instead of “You’re doing/wearing it wrong!”, is “Perhaps you might want to try THIS instead of this!” I love options as opposed to commands or criticisms and biased judgments.

The tip to tuck the shoe string under the tongue of the sneaker is genius! I always struggled with that. Thanks! Btw my favorite color is cream 😊
