Number 1 cheap thing for me is plaids and stripes that don’t line up. My mother was a seamstress and said that was a sign of laziness and cheapness,

Pull on jeans are actually to accommodate different waist to hip ratios and are usually created with the idea that the wearer will not be showing the waist line. It will be hidden under clothes. It’s actually quite difficult for some body shapes to find jeans that fit.
  • I wear "pull on jeans" (jeggings) from time to time, and literally nothing and no one can stop me, LOL. They're comfy as hell.
  • @KimberlyLetsGo
Jeans that don't have a fly or button (pull-on) allow those that don't have a perfectly flat tummy to have a smoothing look in that area. I love it!

Pull on jeans are not cheap looking. My friend that has severe rheumatoid arthritis wears them. Her fingers and hands are in pain and swollen most of the time. Wearing pull on pants makes her day to day activities and going out makes it much easier.

Came to the comments to see who else loves their pull on jeans. It appears to be the most commented on. They are just very comfortable for those who are not skinny & who find that the waist of regular jeans can cut in to our tummy’s. 😊

Pull-on jeans (and all pull on pants) are *awesome*, especially for those of us with a tummy. That said, the waist should be covered up!! Revealing that it's a pull-on is awful 😂
  • In the name of comfort I am here for the pull on jeans lol...but only if my top completely covers the elastic waistband!
  • FYI…. The silly loops on garments with tie belts are only there to minimize the chance of losing the belt from the time the item leaves the manufacturer to when it’s purchased. Just like labels on a mattress or pillows, you CAN remove them. Just clip the thread loops as close to the seam. It’s likely the garment will look better when you tie the belt where ‘your’ waist is.

Finally! Someone pointed out the cheapness of a "half lining" in dresses 😅 no matter how cute an outfit is. The see through dress with half a lining is just screaming cheap.
  • @Graceandres3
Pull on pants are too comfortable to give up! If your top is long enough to cover the waist, who really notices?
  • @ReyBeltane
Dresses with ties or stretchy sections are actually a great way to shop more sustainably. Most people’s bodies fluctuate in size a bit and it ensures your clothes fit you longer and means you don’t have to buy new ones as often. There are definitely good quality brands with this intention. (Probably not amazon’s intent though, admittedly)

I almost felt bad about loving my pull-on jeans until I read so many comments here praising them!
  • @janiner8047
I personally really like the look of big buttons on cardigans. In fact, I like them better than smaller ones. It's really just personal preference.
  • My #1 for looking cheap (and sloppy) : Distressed and/or ripped jeans. Don't care if you spend hundreds on them, the result is the same to me.
  • @fiddlejillm
I LOVE my pull on jeans and pants - I love how flat they are in the front and don't add bulk to my waist. I'll keep wearing them.
  • @paulaevans7027
The “annoying little strings” that come with tie belts are meant to be TEMPORARY!! CUT THEM OFF !! Their sole purpose is to keep the belt with the dress ~ once you buy the dress, no need for them. You don’t keep the plastic, cellophane wrap on a lamp shade. Same thing. It’s temporary!!
  • @j.c.4120
pull on pants…if you are wearing a long button up top or tunic sweater those pants look smooth and it looks nice. They don’t add bulk.
