He is just 21 and He already has scored 16 goals in his first season and yet they say he will not be a 25 goal a season player. These pundits are bunch of hypocrites

'Hated, adored, but never ignored' We are Manchester United ❤
  • Mark ogden saying Højlund was compared with Haaland. No united fan compared or compare him with Haaland. Its you media who did it.

Atleast Dan admits they’re all anti United 😂
  • 16 goals in all comps for an under 21s forward in his first season in the prem is a very promising return and he had the best shot to goal ratio of any player in the prem.

Craig always quick to run his mouth, if you know so much, why not go coach
  • The fact that a guy like Ogden doesn’t know how transfer installments work is baffling. We’re not paying €50m up front for Yoro. Same with Zirkzee.

They're hammering a 21 year old striker after his first season in a top league where he scored 10 goals? lol
  • Rasmus Hojlund didn’t flop in his debut season at Manchester United even though they paid a lot of money for him and we expected immediate results. 16 goals in all competitions while dealing with injuries on a dysfunctional team, at the age of 21, where his teammates don’t pass him the ball enough and not to mention that he didn’t score a single goal in the Premier League until late December and he was their only proper striker. I would give him a 7/10 as he did well under the circumstances despite some question marked about whether or not he can be Manchester United’s goalscorer in the long run. As we saw with him at the EUROs, his profile as a player reminds me of Haaland because when he’s not getting the right service, his game is limited because as a poaching striker, he’s being asked to do what his manager wants him to do, what do you expect from him when nobody passes him the ball. You need to see more of him in the game because this is an issue for Manchester United when everyone knows that he doesn’t get enough service which means that you’re carrying a passenger in games where he doesn’t score because he can find himself in a lot of good positions, yet no one would play the right sort of pass to him. Let’s not say that he’ll be scoring 40+ goals a season if he was playing on Manchester City because he would have more goals if he got better service. Now that they’ve signed Joshua Zirkzee another young striker from Serie A, competition brings out the best in players and maybe for Hojlund, it’s very clear that he’s not a guaranteed starter and he has to fight for his place in the team because it’ll get to a point where similar with other players, at the highest level, we can’t keep players excuses especially if he’s not scoring goals because you have to find a way to bring the best out of a striker who has a lot of ability and potential.
  • Euros are over so its back to ESPN OBSESSION with Man United...... P.S. LEAVE US ALONEEEEEEEEE the kid is 21 FFS
  • @parkerdollar
A lot of money spent? have you read the docs to see how the deals are structured? so are going to be spend over a period of time. This ESPN guys are so lazy to do their work
  • If he were British they’d be saying he’s the next Harry Kane
  • Hurley said we're "Spending elsewhere?" rather than midfield while they're saying that united needs players in all positions. atleast make up your mind. CB is just the priority it doesnt mean we're not getting/improve other positions
  • @Almost_Truth
16 goals, debut season for a 20 y/o striker. These guys are purely trying to get attention by criticising Man United, not surprised.
  • @CoconutJewce
Crazy that ESPN is blatantly reporting false transfer fees. Yoro wasn't £60M. He was €50M with €12M in add-ons and it will be paid in installments. Also, Zirkzee is on 90k/week and Yoro is on 115k/week. If it was the Glazers, those fees would be higher and the wages would be double. Ineos has done a wonderful job on these two deals.
  • Hojlund was injured a lot, got basically no service last season, and was the only natural striking option at United. And oh yeah he’s only 21! This is such unwarranted criticism.
  • Chelsea spent a billion over two seasons won nothing and united spending 70 plus on a 21 year old is an issue smh
