The Steam sales number quoted in this video is incorrect, it only counts the number of Steam players who have played Blur's online mode. The real sales figure is around 30,000, which is much higher, but still terrible for a AAA game.

Nice to know people still remember this great game. And time flies, TEN YEARS now! And is still kicking! 😎

This review deserves way more views... Very well put together, enjoyed every minute of it.

Man, you put soooo much effort into this video, well done, it is really good and really detailed. Loved blur, and love to see it revisited and reevaluated! Well done!

I'm still feeling sad that I discovered this game when the developer closed. It had a lot of potential for a saga of racing games with power ups.

lol, yeah - the best video game soundtrack never heard. I went hours and hours playing this without the licensed soundtrack, it was a pleasant surprise to find it in the settings menu. I would've thought that for the PC version they would've sent a patch down the pipe to turn it on. blur was better than split/second, btw.

Really good retrospective on blur, but you didn't mention the multiplayer at all! It has 4 player split screen even on PC which is great fun.

Check out NASCAR Unleashed, its basically Blur 2 you'll see the Dubai wall ride track in there among other Blur tracks like Downtown LA. Actvision passed all of the BLUR assets to Firebrand before they closed Bizarre Creations.

No idea why a video from May that had 26 ratings showed up in my recommended, but I'm glad it did. GJ, virtually unknown youtuber!

Many things (like the little bits of world-building that's left and oddly chosen name of the Fans mechanic) can be chalked up to the game originally having a much more detailed story, which was almost completely finished but cut late in development for... whatever reason. You should take a look at the unused cutscenes, a recording of it in an old build was uploaded here :awesome:

Great video man, I still have a 360 so I might be tempted here in the future to buy a 360 copy and get enough controllers to do 4 player splitscreen on this down the road. As for your confusion about Midas Touch, it was a reference to an ad slogan for an auto repair company and their slogan was "Trust the Midas Touch"

Damn it man, it's been 10 years since this legendary masterpiece was released Whoever did not play blur does not know the meaning of the real fun of driving in games Man, this game is incredibly addictive, I started playing it since 2016 and I didn't know that it was released in 2010. Because of the awesome graphics, this graphics is unbelievable, it's from 2010, and the innovative menu system, we've never seen a system like this in any other game, and the design of the cars and the great sounds of it, and the legendary arcade gameplay system I'm still playing it now on the PlayStation 3, my favorite car was in the game and until now come on skyline r34 supra and a corvette car I don't remember the full name because this is the car that i was choose it from 2016 to 2020 and now i race with the r34 Cool soundtracks to and the good thing in my view is the game didn't tell you anything you try to discover all the tricks in the game So any one looking for a fantastic game just see blur
