I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

Joseph Horne Co was a wonderful department store here in Pittsburgh. How lovely to have found that hat with the original tag! They used to have one of the best hat departments. They had the big hats women would wear to church and then the elegant one for an evening out. When I was a child, my grandmother and I would go into town to shop and always go to their hat department. She would let me try on hats which of course were way to big, but I couldn't wait to grow up to wear them. Sadly... the 70s came and hats and gloves went out of style. Hail to the 60s!! Hugs from Pittsburgh!

Lucia Heffernan's work seems perfect for Phillip. What whimsy!🐭🐰🐥 Percy is adorable. I can see how Isabelle fell for him. I hope they'll both be warm enough this winter.🧣👨🦳💕👩🦳🧤 What great gifts this week. Using the tales that inspired the scented candles was so clever. Pavlina looked so pretty in her new dress. What a lovely dress. Isabelle looked like she's rest for spring or maybe autumn showers. I assume she already has her wellies.👕 Stephanie, what a vision! The dress fit perfectly.💃 I love Phillip's new boxer briefs. The fabrics are beautiful. If not paired with white pants, consider wearing them on the outside of your trousers.🩲🩳 Several guests return as volunteers. I wonder what their impression is like after experiencing both.👩🍳👨🔧👷♀️🤴👸

What a delightful time watching the reveal of these gifts. Pavlina's dress was stunning and Isabelle looked adorable in her pink jacket. Phillip is so quick and funny with his puns (Zoopurbe, Is a bell) 🤣 which brings much joy and laughter.

My father was Ukrainian and was always in the garden. When we lived in England he had 3 big allotments. Then when we moved to NZ he loved his huge back garden and grew lots of veg, and gorgeous flowers in the front rockery. In his retirement he often worked for free in the gardens of neighbourhood people who no longer could manage their gardens. It must be something in the Ukrainian DNA. I have the thought of having a beautiful garden but usually get bored after about 30minutes. (LOL)

First of all, Stephanie must record some audiobooks! She reads so well and I remember that little victorian book she read for us few years ago. Secondly, Charlotte has such an eye! What beautiful gifts and such an amazing Dutch brand. Thirdly, the branding of those candles 🕯I am blown away. I am sure the scents are amazing but the packaging and descriptions are on a different level. The owner must have such a beautiful imagination.
