I absolutely love how Willem is one of the VERY few actors who has established himself as a keeper in both the DC and Marvel Universes

I honestly appreciated that Atlanna showed love for both of her sons. She never had anything against Orm, it was just something between her and Orm's father that was the issue. Orm backing down knowing she's alive was a nice touch because the assumption of her death for having Arthur was also the crux of his resentment towards the surface world. Doesn’t excuse his actions but he has a bit of a realization there.

The fights in this movie are so underrated, everything is choreographed so well. No flashy or unnecessary cuts, the camera angles are perfect and the takes are long and easy to follow.

I was honestly surprised at how one sided this fight was usually the hero and villain are evenly matched but Aquaman was kicking ass the whole fight

I loved how Vulko smiled at 2:50 knowing that Arthur accomplished the move he was training him years ago...

Can’t believe they kept the original colours of Aquamans suit and still manage to make it look cool

That scene was so epic and unique. Jason Momoa did a really good job when he plays Aquaman. No one like him cant play Aquaman better. Respect for that fantastic fight scene 👊👊👏

I just love the contrast between Orm smugly breaking Atlanna's trident and Arthur's absolute devastation that 1) he lost the fight but 2) he broke his mother's trident in doing so (possibly the only physical thing he had left of her) and then in this battle he absolutely shatters Orvax's trident wielded by Orm which in turn shows Orm how Arthur felt in that very same moment - also a nice metaphor for showing Orm that the way Orvax ruled Atlantis was not necessarily right and that his father (and therefore he himself) was/is not indestructible...idk I just love this movie

Patrick Wilson did a great job in this movie, can’t wait to see him in the sequel, especially the buddy adventure dynamic between him and Jason Mamoa

I like how they made Ocean Master into his comicbook counterpart, as well as humanizing him even greater than the Comics Code Authority allowed writers to.
