As an Orm fan, I loved this ending for him. He was a victim of his father’s abuse — Orvax manipulated Orm into doing his bidding even from beyond the grave. Orm realized his mistake when Atlanna was revealed to be alive in the last movie and Orm’s time in prison made him want to change his ways. He made the effort to change and will do better as a person moving forward. It’s rare to see a good redemption arc done right where the character gets to live and doesn’t sacrifice their life for their redemption. I’m glad Orm received the happy ending he rightfully deserved. Also bravo to Patrick Wilson’s acting as Orm, he did a wonderful job in both movies.

Patrick Wilson ironically is close to Aquaman comic appearance

I'm glad that Orm is alive and got a happy ending. His was a story of redemption and he more than redeemed himself, and now he gets to be free, explore the surface world and eat all the cheeseburgers he wants🍔 Not every redemption story has to end in a sacrifice or tragedy so it makes me happy that one of my favourite characters got that happy ending! 🔱 Admittedly I really wanted to see Arthur & Orm rule Atlantis together, and if we got an Aquaman 3 we'd definitely see them together again, but knowing they parted on good terms and that Orm has really come to accept Arthur as his brother too was the best outcome I could've gotten. Also knowing Arthur, he probably went and found Orm asap to show him all his favourite surface world spots and because lets be honest he probably misses Orm 😂

I love how Orm is being noble and praising his brother Arthur and his mantle as king, not to mention calling Arthur and knowledging him as his brother

3:18 siblings are one of the fewest bonds that are strong. They may argue but still care for one another

1:25 - even fearing the Manta he had enough balls to save Arthur Jr. Thank you, indeed, Dr. Shin, it was astounding.
  • Aquaman and Aquaman 2 are the movies those manage to look high Budget and low budget simultaneously.👍

Looking at Patrick Wilson as Orm, I'm stuck by how much more he looks like the original comic book version of Aquaman than Jason Momoa.

Although I liked the brothers chemistry and some comedy scenes, it was sadly not enough to save the movie. Such a shame. This sequel had lots of potential.

Hope Patrick will be the new Aqua man in the reboot. He literally has the comic book look

I don't care what anyone says, I'm gonna miss this universe and this was an emotional film for me. I turned 18 last year and the DCEU ended as well, DC had always been my favorite and this was like the end of my childhood, even if it wasn't perfect, this universe will always have a special place in my heart.
