We left Yellowknife for Edmonton on the 2nd of May and returned on the 6th July, No sign of Raymond, but on the 20th of July a Raven started to squawk at me on our roof, I held a piece of bread in my hand and he came to the balcony and proceeded to eat it!!!!! Merlyn...

I work with hundreds of birds every day and the feather fluffing shows he likes the sounds you're making. I'm very envious. This is my favorite kind of bird.

We’ve got a raven round our way that says “This vehicle is reversing “ and then it beeps a couple of times. It just suddenly comes out of nowhere at all times of the day. It must follow the bin lorries.

Corvidae (ravens, crows, etc) can recognize individual faces and will remember faces of the people who were nice to them (and, also, mean to them). I love how this one seems to instantly recognize him and just hops right on over. 😊
