How to hold a Pike.

Late spring Pike in Muskoka Ontario was a blast. We've had some colder weather move in over the last few days and this day wasn't going to be any different. The day was going to start out with some mild winds and then move into gusts of 30km. Our goal was to hit the big water early in the day and move into some back waters later when the wind picked up.

why do I see soo many fisherman holding pike by the gills! second video now, some other guy doing the same thing. You can grab em between the gills and the mouth in the jaw tissue. It's very harmful to put your hand up in the fish gills!
