The first Stockton food truck park is getting ready to close for good. The park's owners said the city has put so much pressure on them, they feel there's no choice. "We all worked very hard on this," owner Kenny Foster said. Stocklandia was a first in the city. It was located in the parking lot of an old car dealership on West Lane that was converted into a safe haven for food trucks. See more in the video above.

When they heard you guys were successful from a food truck with all that noise and foot traffic, they had to step in and cut ties. I bet you if you were paying a little fee to them, they'd shut up

This is California. They don’t care about small businesses. God Bless.
  • —BUT THEY’LL WELCOME THE 90’th STARBUCKS RIGHT !!!!……………

🤦‍♂️ the train passing thru Stockton causes more of a traffic jam
  • They talk about traffic issues but right across the street is a huge cause of traffic. I used to live a block from there and the school that was build caused way more traffic and had people flying down my street at more than 40mph.
  • It’s obvious there’s someone with more of a interest in this piece of land .

Bad move bu the city, entrepreneurs are the backbone of the economy. What's really going on is local restaurants are bytching and complaining to the city, they think the food trucks hurt their bottom line, which isn't the case.
  • 😂 this is Stockton! All of a sudden the city board cares! 🤦🏾‍♂️
  • What a shame. I thought this was a brilliant business idea and I would drive by many times and never saw any problems of traffic. The government of Stockton and all of the people involved in closing this business are a huge disappointment.
