  • About 35 years ago I was very interested in Scientology. I had just had my daughter and was a single parent and was looking for a direction to go on in life. I had picked up a dianetics books and was reading it. My mom TORE the book from my hands and threw it into the fireplace and then picked up my daughter(even though she had been sleeping) and put her in my arms. She then proceeded to tell me that come hell or high water there was no way in hell she was going to let any daughter of hers join a cult. She said whether I knew it or not I already had a purpose in life and I was holding it. I will forever be grateful for my mom doing that. My daughter is 35 successful and happy and she is the best thing I ever did was being her mom. It breaks my heart to hear how Scientology takes one of the greatest loves there will ever be and shreds it. That is the love between a parent and child. And what’s even worse they make the kid feel like there is something broken in them. It makes me so mad at their parent(s).
  • I've been helped greatly by Dr. Berg's videos. Shocked he was a scientologist. Even more shocked how any rational person can follow and support that cult.

I had no idea Dr. Berg is a Scientologist. Now that I know and hearing Ian’s story, I can no longer take Dr. Berg seriously. It is so good that you got out of that. Stay strong. God bless.

Leah Remini and Ian are both in synch. I applaud your bravery, both of you.
  • I worked for Dr. Berg. Ian was one of my bosses, and he was a great guy. Almost didn’t recognize him with the long hair lol. Anyway I left because I felt uncomfortable with the business (product peddling, SeaOrg, medical knowledge, quotas) and I’m so thankful I had the discernment to do so 🙏
  • I was the person who emailed the aftermath foundation about Ian and to get in contact with him! I’m so so overjoyed to see they have helped him and that he is doing so good. Thank you Aftermath Foundation 🙏
  • Sadly hurt by his abusive parents. This will be a long road to healing.

Scientology is SO BIZARRE! Glad that you’re now free! ✌🏼
  • Aaron, thank you for letting Ian talk without interruption. This allows all of us to truly hear him without distraction. One of the most powerful ways to respect another is to let them know that you can hear them.

Thank you for your bravery, Ian. I had no idea your dad is a Scientologist and a few minutes into this video, I paused and unsubscribed from Dr. Berg. I am glad you are healing.
  • When I found out that Eric Berg was a Scientologist I dropped him immediately and told him why. So glad that you caught in and left.❤❤

It's shocking to hear these things. It never ceases to amaze me when finding out people's true natures.

Aaron, thank you for giving Ian a chance to tell his story his way. So many interviewers interrupt or try to direct the interview in whatever direction fits their agenda. You gave him a safe place to tell his story and the freedom to do it how he wanted to! You are awesome!

Never knew Dr. Berg was a scientologist. Interesting. Ian sounds like he's angry and has things to work out -- totally understandable. Leaving behind something you've been raised on is a long journey. Ian, my best to you on this journey. Aaron, you are a good interviewer -- very patient.

I watched him for awhile then started to think something wasn’t right. I never watched him again. Thanks for telling the truth!
  • @clayfeathers
I will no longer watch his videos. Thanks to the son who is smart enough to leave the cult and brave enough to tell!! 🙏✝️🕊️God Bless him!

Always knew there was something off about Eric Berg. The whole Scientology thing answered many questions.
  • Thank you so much for sharing your story. My sister and I were both Dr. Berg fan-girls and once we found out the Scientology connection we ditched him and dumped out our products we bought since I couldn’t stand looking at his face on the jars any more. You are very brave and you have a huge community of supporters ❤️❤️❤️
  • Well, this is an eye opener. I’m glad I came across this video of Ian. Thank you for your honesty and truth.
  • @ArrynBlue
I liked Berg....until NOW! Unbelievable! I'm glad Ian had the courage to get away from this nightmare.
