One of the best singers in rock n roll history. Thank you Mr. Burdon.
-
I always thought it was "Spill the wine, Milton Berle"
-
What's funny is I've also been singing it wrong all this time, but not the same wrong he thinks. It's always been "dig that girl" and I think it always will be for me.

Loved Eric Burdon since I was a kid.

Saw Eric Burdon and The Animals in concert. It was Awsome. 😀😃😄😁😊
-
I spilled a lot of wine.
-
Pearl...girl...whatever... The treat was the meat.😊
-
He looks great for his age. Long live Eric Burden
-
I always thought it was "dig that girl". Still sounds better that way to me.

Eric Burdon hanging in there! Mr. North Man, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne! They speak a little differently up there.
-
So...the meaning of the song is unchanged, then. 😁 Also, we are so lucky to still have such an absolute legend like Eric Burdon still living amongst us. I'm sure he never thought he would make it to 30 let alone to 80+!! Amazing!!

I remember this song when I was growing up! One of my favorites!

Such a unique voice. Loved him in whatever group he was with.

Before Katrina, I was living in New Orleans. All my favorite hangouts in New Orleans had KILLER CD jukeboxes. 🤗 👍 Whenever I visited Port of Call, I never failed to play Eric Burdon & War, Eric Burdon & Animals, Oscar Peterson, Freddie King, & other Blues, Rock, Jazz greats in the house machine. 🥰 Other great CD jukeboxes were hosted by the Drydock Cafe, Markey's Bar. I discovered the great Blues guitarist Gary Moore at the Drydock. I departed New Orleans after Mardi Gras season 2005. 😘 During the Katrina crisis later that same year, the Punk Thug Criminals broke into every store, cafe, bar, restaurant, etc., that they could get into, looted & took whatever they wanted, and all the super & perhaps rare discs were stolen. 😡 When I returned to visit New Orleans after 10 years in 2015 I discovered all the music in the "jukeboxes" was now supplied by the Internet, Internet music players, a complete letdown from the carefully curated collections of discs of the past. 😢 Yes, there were more selections available to play, from vast online archives, but what is missing from these online players is being able to page through & discover all the discs that you perhaps had never before seen or listened to, to read the album covers & notes, and to appreciate that someone had chosen the discs & placed them in the jukebox for your listening pleasure. Online players are just NOT the same. 🙄🤔☹️ They basically suck major root comparatively.
