My tank was so green even right after water and filter changes. I finally just got some Aqueon algae remover and it worked like a miracle. That's it it worked for me.

I've used UV Sterilizers or just do a water change and go dark for a few days. You're right about that not fixing the source though. If I have to do either, I'll follow it up with a shorter photo period. The balance between light, fertilizer, CO2, and water changes can take months to find for me, and it's always harder on the 10 gallon and smaller tanks. That's what I've found anyway. You guys have a great channel. Maybe the least preachy aquarist channel out there. I really enjoy your videos.

I'd recommend the wifi smart outlet for lights. Easy to program, and you can turn it on or off all with your phone!

Ty.have cut back lights. Plus vacuumed plus water change.bit still green.
