What to actually put on your baby registry (and what to take out) / Newborn Must Haves + FAILS

We just passed our home visit to be approved for infant adoption.

After 3 pregnancies that didn’t make it we’re finally having our first that has made it over 10 weeks. 19 weeks in and we just started the registry yesterday.

Tried for over 7 years to get pregnant. FINALLY got pregnant naturally and on our own. I'm somewhere between 7-9 weeks! :)

22 weeks pregnant with our first baby. We just got some unfortunate news this week about some complications our baby boy has, so really focusing on getting ready for his arrival and making our home the most comfortable for him. Watching videos like yours and checking things off the baby to-do list is what's bringing me joy and excitement during this tough time.💙

I’ll be 75 in a month and no, not planning on having any more babies. But I’m watching anyway. Amazingly, I actually survived without any of this stuff when mine were little☺️ I just can’t believe how things have changed in the baby world! I didn’t even have paper diapers, actually made my own cloth diapers. Changing time could be a bit of a mess (no wet wipes), not to mention the clean-up of diapers afterwords but, as I said, I survived. Shocking Edit: I didn’t even have a car seat for my newborns, it wasn’t required!

I just turned 21 and found out im pregnant yesterday! Already making a registry! My husband and I are so excited!

Just got married a month ago! We made a plan to wait 1.5-2 years and then re-evaluate. I'm watching because it's never too early to start learning, especially knowing that we don't have perfect control over everything that happens, even with a great plan in place.

Currently just about 12 weeks with my first and am so so excited! I've been struggling with the overwhelm of the world of baby items. I'm a planner but I also feel like these days people buy so many unnecessary things during pregnancy/early parenting life. I'm really trying to find the balance between having everything we need but not over doing it. This video was super helpful and I loved the suggestions you had for all of the diaper bag items!! I’m 4 weeks pregnant with my first child, my fiancé and I are getting married in September so we wanted to start trying in case it took us a while to get pregnant and we struck gold on the first try! It’s a little sooner than I anticipated but I guess my baby just really wanted to come now!

I have one child who’s 19 and have no plans on having anymore, I just love you and love watching your videos. Also, I just want to put out there that MOST of the items mentioned are not necessary. New parents, please don’t think you have to run out and buy the latest snd greatest anything. When my son was born, we used blankets to swaddle and they worked just fine. We used the Fischer-Price swing and it worked just fine. We didn’t have bottle warmers and wipe warmers and it was fine. If it’s something you want, great, but please don’t feel like you HAVE to have these things. Many children were born and raised just fine without a snu (not sure of spelling?)
