I was a little kid during this era. Guys like The Boz and Bo were literal super heroes. There were no highlights back in the day like today. Everything was word of mouth like, "Did you hear what ___ did?".... They became legends in our minds. Even if they weren't always truly legends on the field!

Jxmyhighroller and KTO are the goats of basketball and football YouTube videos
  • Getting to a KTO video 1 minute after it drops feels like Christmas
  • If Boz wasn't playing on astroturf, he probably would have had a nice 7 year NFL career. Sadly the Seahawks played on that in the Kingdome plus at Arrowhead for the Chiefs until after the 1993 season. So that's 10 games minimum. I am not saying he was going to be a all pro, but he could of have a nice career. At least we can see him as the sheriff in the Dr. Pepper Fansville commercials.
  • He is also the sheriff in fansville(the college football Dr. Pepper commercials)

Crazy he built his brand like he did in that time. Very rare compared to today.
  • The 30 for 30 on The Boz was something I really enjoyed when I was younger. Glad you're covering him, another great video

I don't personally consider the boz a bust, dude has serious injuries in the shoulders and joints, you won't ever play the same even after surgery back then, if he was healthy I think he would have a decent/ good NFL career
  • KTOOOOOOOOO!! Man, this dude here, The Boz lol. I'll be honest when I was a kid I liked the movie Stone Cold lol. I get how its viewed now but it was cool when I was young lol.
  • The only time I saw him play was against Adam Sandler when he was working as a prison guard .

17:20 Damn shoulders... Also, this guy's ability to play a different and flamboyant character in media appearances makes me think he could've been a star in the late Golden Era of WWF (now WWE).

Brian Bosworth, man. As an Oklahoma fan, this brings back memories

For a kid growing up in the 80’s, I can tell you The Boz and The Rocket Ismail defined my love for college football. Such excitement tuning into games back in the day when only a few games/week were actually televised nationally. And those 80’s Miami teams that everybody loved to hate. An awesome era in college football when a guy would normally stay for 4 years and dominate year after year. And the excitement of New Years Day when there were about 87 bowl games. A lot of us have a lot of core memories from that time.

His 30for30 was the first one of the series i saw. Still one of the best docs ive ever seen.
