This is a truly inspiring and engrossing movie. A wonderful treat for any family to watch. I just finished watching the sequel to this movie: Hope's Legacy. The producer/director hit back to back home runs with both movies. Well done.

My dad bought a hobby farm when I was six and one of the first things my brother and I asked for was a horse. Ol dad bought my brother and I a Shetland pony for 25 dollars that came with a saddle. I'll never forget the first time my dad put the saddle on and show us how to ride. The first thing the pony did was take dad under the clothes line but dad saw that coming and he ducked. My dad rode him a bit more before the pony decided to go charging down a steep hill full bore and then coming to a sudden stop. Dad flew a good twenty feet before rolling another twenty feet through an area he burnt a week before. Dad slowly picked himself off the ground all blackened from head to toe. My brother, mother and I fell to the ground laughing. My brother and I never got much riding time on that pony because he didn't want to be ridden and he knew how to hurt us every which way he could. The last time I rode him he used all his weight to smash my leg into a block retaining wall. My dad eventually sold him to guy that had a team of ponies to pull a wagon.
