The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled against the demand to reconduct the NEET-UG exam over allegations of paper leak. In its order, the court said there was no sufficient evidence to indicate a systemic leak of the question paper.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a Prime Minister's Package of five schemes aimed at facilitating employment and skilling, with an allocation of Rs 2 lakh crore.
"This year, I have made a provision for Rs 1.48 lakh crore for education, employment and skilling. The people have given a unique opportunity to our government to take the country on the path of strong development and an all round prosperity," said Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
