Vintage KISS In Store Displays with John 5

Publicado 2021-06-07
Well we were a bit rusty and there were some definite train wrecks here and there, but we we had a ton of fun as always. Check out the new episode with John 5 where we discuss vintage in-store promos up to Creatures. And some posters. But we weren't supposed to be doing posters. So we'll cover those (again) later lol.

  • 51 years old and I can remember no better time in my life than growing up as a KISS fan in the 70s!

No exaggeration ... nothing makes my night after a long day of work than to know there's 2 hours of cool Kiss stuff accompanied by lots of info and especially laughs waiting for me when you guys post a new episode! Great show as always & loads of fun; thanks gents.

"What is that, 'air xylophone'?!?!?!" OMG, literally spit out my water laughing. Well done!!! Great show, I missed all of you goofballs. (That frickin "Poison Arrow" song is now stuck in my head! Damn you, Nicholas!!)
  • Great episode again, guys! You dudes have the same type of humor as me and you guys crack me up. I ordered the Slaughter box set (even though I am not a huge Slaughter fan) but I liked the quality of the Ace box you put out, worth the $$$. How about doing Vinnie Vincent's long promised box set fans paid for and never got? 😂
  • Gentlemen, this is some great stuff. We all know how I feel about promo vinyl, and I love these in-store promos... But, I'm not going down that rabbit hole
  • Jason has arrived!! Great background Jason.(finally!) ;) ok. On to the show. This should be great! Hi Joe!! :)

It's always nice when I see y'all pop up on my notifications. Congrats on getting the Slaughter project out. It looks cool as hell.

John’s Unmasked cube originally belonged to me. It was sealed in the package and I opened it and built it, so its pretty minty fresh!

61st thumbs up from me and I haven't even watched it yet!!!!! Peace out from the Southern Tip of Vancouver Island, B.C. CANADA
  • That pic of Paul with the stacked DYNASTY promos behind him, is pure magic. Becoming a fan in 88', I was more a Star Wars kid in the 70's, but I just love to imagine the magic that kids felt, seeing these guys, as superhero's so close up. That had to be life changing. A JC Penny's employee dressed up as Darth Vader in 1980 moved me, I can only imagine what it was like seeing those guys 'in store' back then. Very cool. Great talk. Always respect the information you guys share. Keep up the good work. Take care.

My favorite episode so far. You guys got a bunch of laughs out of me. Freaking hilarious! Always cool stuff to see. I had the huge solo album display when I was a kid John has. My giant one had a big brass ringlets in the corners.
