You bought the tractor. But did you insure it? Did you know your Homeowner's policy does NOT cover your compact tractor. Some companies will offer partial insurance as a rider on your policy. Do yourself a favour - check the price and coverage from Kubota, and from your current insurer and if you live in Canada, compare them to the Tractor Protect coverage and pricing from Duliban Insurance. I chose Tractor Protect - far more coverage, similar price. I am NOT sponsored nor receive any compensation from any insurance companies. But I know lots of subscribers in our GP Outdoors community just bought their very first tractor this year and I hope you have considered it. Cheers and be safe my friends!

Great advice on tractor stability, my friend’s son is a professional equipment operator, he told me to allways remember “if you feel the tractor tipping, immediately put the loader down”! When I move loads, my hand is on that stick ready to,push it forward.
  • Good Morning GP: Were in the same boat here Montana. It’s been very warm and dry here and very little snow. When it does snow, it melts off quickly. I’m glad the viewer is okay. I also have liquid ballast in my rear tires and I typically run with a ballast box on the back.

No snow here is Minnesota yet either. I also don’t have my snowblower on yet. Nothing in the forecast. Keep on tractoring!
  • Winter is coming GP! Thanks for the four tractor safety tips. I had a close call the other day with the loader off and the backhoe still on. I received a comment on the video to use the backhoe bucket to keep from tipping, but as you said if your new to tractors you may not know this. Thanks for sharing, cheers, Mike.
  • Good morning Gord, glad that didn't happen to you. Hope all is well around there and that you all are getting together for Christmas. Stay safe and keep up the good videos. Fred..
  • GP, thanks for all the great videos. Wishing you and yours a memorable holiday season.

I put 2" wheel spacers on the back of my B2650 to help with stability. It made a big difference and also allows tire chains to be installed without getting into the hydraulic lines or fenders.

Greetings from eastern Ontario. Woke up to 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Your safety tips are spot on. Weight on the back of the tractor is critical. Have had a few OH Shucks incidents over the years. Experience is a great teacher though. Cheers.

Good information, as always, Gord. I hope all is well there with you and your family. Cheers!
  • It's El Nino cycle. A You Tube meteorologist (Ryan Hall Y'all) for North America showed a favorable forcast thru December before cold sets in. I'm going for that.
  • A very Merry Christmas and safe and Happy New Year to you and your family Gord! Thank you for your informative and entertaining videos and look forward to seeing more in the new year. Cheers! 👍

Hi G.P. We’re getting a lot less snow in Virginia as well. In the 50s and 60s we had snow almost all winter and now it’s very rare to get snow especially measurable snow. Thanks for all your information have a wonderful week

Good morning GP, I did my 400 hour service at the end of September and have put another 60 hours on since then. It's been a year and a half since I bought the tractor. Great reminder and tips to keep safe on these dangerous machines. Glad to hear the owner of the tipped tractor is ok. Thanks for sharing.
  • @brianfisher3991
Thanks for taking us along Gord . We sure didn’t get the snow that they predicted yesterday. Rained all day and then 3/4 inch of snow overnight in Tweed .
  • @snymat_68
"It always looks so funny when it's naked, eh?" My tractor and me both. 😂 Merry Christmas to you and your family.
