I played all of the Witcher 3 wild hunt about a month ago after the next gen update came out. I decided i’d make my biggest video yet on it after a month break from the tube (was just getting too caught up in the rat race etc.) I learned SOOO much while making this, so many mistakes made lol. But now i’m stoked to make the next one even better with all that new KNOWLEDGE. The Witcher 3 will always hold a dear place in my heart, I hope you guys enjoy the video ❤️

  • Hey Guysssss awkward moment but my first upload of this video got AGE RESTRICTED for a really oddly specific reason ! So I'm reuploading here. I really tried to get it un-age restricted and if you want the full story I made a community post about it: www.youtube.com/channel/UCYkEkdsIRPfaKZMlfVLvI9g/c… Thanks for watching or re-watching guys, also it's my birthday, and my one birthday wish is to like the video, comment, and tell literally everyone you've ever met to watch this video, thank you <3 Edit: And the next video is underway! It's a really fun idea and I'm excited to share, I'll get it to you as efficiently as I can hopefully by end of march, early April. Life is busy, but we're having a good time!
  • The original was criminally underviewed! Hope this one crushes a million views at least. This is by far your best work. One of my favorite channels.

9:53 There's actually an option in the setting to turn on automatic oils so it applies the most useful oils as soon as you get in a fight
  • @Paint
I stumbled on this channel randomly and I’m so glad I did! It’s clear you poured a ton of hours into this, so entertaining!

I didn’t play any Witcher game until the Witcher 3 next-gen update 😅 I probably shouldn’t have waited so long. But anyway, it became my favourite game.
  • Jack is honestly the most underrated youtuber ever, I think you'll make it really big someday. The quality and heart in your content is truly amazing
  • Dude is one of the best commentators and editors in the YouTube space easily. Let’s get this man the fame he deserves.
  • There is an "alternative movement" option in the settings. Helps a ton with Geralt's sluggish movement, makes it feel much more snappy and responsive.
  • I know I’m late to the party, but just to ease anyone suffering out there, you can turn on automatic oil application. This means every time you enter combat the correct oil is automatically applied to your blade. Didn’t discover this until 40 hours in but it’s awesome.

The reason Dandelion sounds like Vesimir is because it's Dandelion recounting the story when he's much, much older. I mean, he even name drops his own name quite a few times in the cinematics.
  • CDPR did a great job at making this game. Hands down a masterpiece. Your critique on the main quest line lacking backstory is certainly justified. Didn’t read the books until after this game and all of it fell into place. You learn how ciri first met the “wild hunt” and why they pursue her. You learn ciri’s story of her childhood and her parents and why it’s important. You learn about her lineage and how it’s the backbone to the foundation to the whole franchise. All in all there’s an insane amount of backstory to support the game that would be damn near impossible for CDPR to include. I think it’s the main reason why they decided to make the games outside of the books and write their own story while using the books as reference. It’s probably a near impossible task to have a direct adaptation of the books into another medium hence a contributing factor to the criticism the Netflix show is receiving.

Amazing work, I love how dynamic the filming is, having many locations, specially outdoors but even inside your room, changing angles all the time. Stellar job, instant sub
  • For the amount of effort you put into your videos, I'm more than happy to re-watch this video! Keep up the great work Jack! Already looking forward to your next one 🙌
  • @ka1ki13
the commentary on this one was PHENOMENAL! You really outdid yourself this time Jack, this SLAPS!! ❤
  • @younggod5230
FOR INPUT DELAY: You can activate "alternative input response" or something like that in options. It will give Geralt much smoother movement
  • @giobrumas
Bro just literally created an entire documentary about a game he liked. What am I doing with my life? No sarcasm, this is the coolest video I've watched on YouTube recently. It made me want to play Witcher 3 again... for the fourth time. Bravo, Mr. Sather! Keep doing the great work!
  • Gotta be honest here, this is my first time watching a video of yours and this has got to be the best Witcher 3 video I’ve seen. You captured quite literally every single point that made me personally fall in love with this game years ago and fall back in love with it this year. Excellent video man 👏🏼👌🏼 all these years later and still no game has topped it in my eyes
  • @Evanz111
Holy heck, this is the highest quality video from a creator I’ve never seen before. Easy subscription. You’re like a mix of the style of all my favourite creators all in one <3
  • @fil949
Not sure if this has been addressed or not but regarding the oils you can actually find in settings to auto apply oils, switch this on and you got yourself the appropriate oil for the appropriate enemy. It's a game changer, quite literally!
  • @HAOSAKELLA
Reading the books would help you to see the story of W3 as (nearly) flawless. Unparalleled respect for original material. Answers all of your story-related questions easily.
