Many young players struggle with mistakes during football games, often letting them affect the rest of their performance. 📉 😰

Coach Rafaz (‪@thehonestfootballcoach‬ ) addresses this common challenge by teaching our camp players how to separate events in football, ensuring one mistake doesn't spiral into a series of errors. 😵‍💫

He also provides practical tips on how to quickly recover from mistakes and move on to the next action with confidence. 😤

This mentality masterclass is a must-watch for any young player looking to enhance their mental resilience on the field and maintain peak performance, no matter what happens during a match!

And you too can join our next camp to learn and train with English academy coaches!

Every minute of this masterclass is gold! As Rafaz says you can have all the skills and physicality in the world but 🧠 mentality is where it all starts. Great stuff.
  • as a teen there's something adults don't understand some coaches will take a player out and barley play them to them being free willed and trying something new and if they mess up coaches will not play them so they stick to fixed mind sets and stay within the box and play only how the coach wants them too so that's something you can make a detailed video for coaches to understand.

Holy cow, this is the best video on YouTube. Doesn't just apply to football, even in career and life. Such great advice, thank you for sharing!

cant even lie this guy is very well spoken, every word was point on. Imo i have very good dribbling skills getting past 4 deffenders who are 5-6 years older then me with ease yet once i start stressing over lossing ball twice or even 3 times on there good deffending or me making wrong decission it all comes down and i start to hide from the ball but still somehow in a game almost every attack i get the ball (not supprissing considering im a winger) but it starts to feel like a chore after i make a bad pass or lose 1v1 for even 4times in a row.

“You lose the ball here, counter and it’s 0-1…after that, you have the ball again, you lose it again, 0-2 😂 next minute ur getting subbed off
  • Some times i wish i was born in the UK, in Nigeria its really difficult to get these level of mental training, they only care about win now and get the prizes, going as far as recruiting outsiders to compete in tournaments and tgat really killed my confidence honestly, i recently starting to go back to kicking about after nor kicking a ball since 2019

Thank you guys sooooo much! I recently joined an academy team and I will need to up my game to prove to everyone I can play. ❤
  • Thanks, coach.I personally have that mistake of hiding myself and pretending that i want the pass because later i did bad pass, and the opposite team score.thanks train effective. Please upload these types of videos ❤❤

am a left winger and one time i made a mistake cuz the opponent was pressuring me from the back so i wanted to pass the ball to my cb and it got intercepted and they scored but owever i scored 2 in that game and assisted 1

Cuz of the honest coach rafaz iam now improving both as a player and person

My 11 year old son does that. He has a bad touch and his confidence goes down, he doesn’t ask for the ball. On the flip side, if he has a great first touch and things go his way, he’s unstoppable. The beautiful game is more mental than it is physical sometimes. Great video. Lots of good lessons here. Thank you!

I just don’t like training on an academy because people are just rude.I didn’t know any football back then and wanted to start training. The first day there they told me to do things I didn’t understand + people always get mad at you if you make a single mistake. And I was (and still am) a really sensitive person who gets easily hurt.So when people start complaining that I don’t help them and that am not good enough…It just hearts my heart and I can’t hold back my tears😢
  • I know I have said this before. But I want to thank you so much for inspiring me to also make this kind of content!
