Fmr. Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) joins Morning Joe to discuss Trump's VP pick, JD Vance's record, particularly his views on women and abortion, and his shifting political stance. Ryan criticizes Vance's insincerity and outlines his extreme views. Ryan also reiterated his call for Biden to step aside for Kamala Harris, praising her recent performance and readiness to lead the Democratic ticket: "We need be decisive about this.  Rip off the band-aid. Make Kamala Harris the nominee."

    I remember babysitting for the secretary of a deputy, I asked that woman : What is a deputy ? she said : Just an ambitious lawyer ! That definition stayed with me. Few of these guys have a vocation to really serve their community.

    I totally disagree with Tim Ryan. He lost. So I’m not sure why his opinion is important. Tim Ryan can’t blame anyone but himself for losing. Biden will win. People want to support Biden but this negative coverage is hard to defeat. 💙🗳️ I’m disappointed with Nancy Pelosi as well. They are not polling the right people bc there are many people who believe Biden will win.

    They have Sean O'Brien at the RNC convention. Getting a remarkable speech the most progressive speech any Republican has ever had to sit and listen to. Evan a few days later Trump is talking smack about unions and union workers? Something tells me that Sean O'Brien is it going to be sitting quietly about this.
