1A Auto is my #1 go to because they have a lot of videos on Chevy Silverado, Suburban & Tahoe. Very helpful
  • I enjoyed watching y'all struggle on getting the old bolt off. I've watched so many YouTube mechanics do something difficult like it's absolutely the easiest thing ever, then when I tried to do it it's extremely difficult. Glad to see y'all struggle for once on something easy.
  • Why people dislike the video, this person is trying to help and putting his effort to teach us how to do it ,. There are many ways to do it but that was his way and share it with us.🤔

1A auto has been extremely helpful and saved me countless dollars over the years. Thank you.
  • Just did both links and bushings today. My truck is raised, so I didn't need to lift it, and I didn't remove the tires...worked out great. Thanks for the video!

I torqued my bolts to whatever the fuck I wanted and it seems to still be working. Lol

Normally, I absolutely love your videos, and this is no exception. However, he did not need to cut that plastic piece out of the linkages. He could’ve just hit it slightly on top with a hammer and push the whole bolts for the sway bar link out of the bottom. That’s how I do it all the time. It just pops right out of the bottom and falls apart with the bushings and caps (or plastic spacer - in this case). However, I am glad that he had an opportunity to diagnose and rectify a seized sway bar link and spacer - which is GM stock OEM. It might be good, if people have that stock plastic spacer on their swaybar linkage that they coat that middle section of the bolt with some anti-seize before putting it back on and maybe try to coat the inside hole for the sway bar to prevent further rust/impedance. That is...as long as the anti-seize doesn’t get EVERYWHERE lol 😂

Great video. Thanks for the instructions! I used a cutting wheel to hack the top part off and a punch and ball peen to knock the bolt out. Good stuff!!! THANK YOU SIR!!
  • Awesome video! I just need to change the rubber bushings on mine. Perfect 👍🏼.
  • Thank You this helped me alot and I also ordered the part from your website.

Great video. Really helped me decide if I wanted to do this myself or not. Glad to see it's pretty easy
  • How about using a sawzaw at the lower grommet? Seems it would be a lot less work to get the old bar out.

I dont even waste my time trying to remove those with ratchets and wrenches, I go straight for my angle grinder with safety guard removed and a cut off disc big enough to get where I need to cut and whoolah, time to put the new link on!
  • Question, do you need to remove the tire or can you do it without removing it??
