Jamerrill, My dad has been in the hospital over a month now with GI issues, He has requested solid foods and has done well for 2 days. I told the doctor about your blueberry bread and asked if he could have it and she said, "Bring it!" He needs the calories and the nutrition. I never thought a food could make such a difference in someone's life but your bread has kept my dad eating by triggering his appetite several times now. Thank you. I think it should be named Jamerrill's Miracle Blueberry Bread.

Instead to throwing away the bad tomatoes, consider starting a compost pile to put all the veggie, fruit and egg shells in for your garden next year. Anything that doesn't have meat fats or oils can be put in there.

If the ones in freezer are frozen, take them and process them and put more in freezer . Keep circulating. Easy to peel when thawed

One ear of corn in the microwave for four minutes, add four minutes for each ear, always good. Leave in husks while cooking.

I feel your pain. My alternator went out last week with a PACKED truck, 3 pets and my grandson. 200 miles from home. 95 degrees. Sigh

If you slice them, lay flat on sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and toast them till edges are starting to char. Then blend/puree no need to remove skins and seeds or boil down. So yummy

One of my favorite tomato and cucumber side dishes is to cut up a couple of tomatoes and then peel and cut up a cucumber, put in a bowl and add mayo or Miracle Whip (I usually use about 2-3 big spoonfuls), mix together and put in the fridge overnight. I love having it with grilled chicken. All those tomatoes made me start craving tomato sandwiches. Yummy.
