  • Yay! I finally got a chance to watch Arcane. Have you seen it? If so, what did you think of it? Let me know if I should continue this series in the comments below! 👇

"Wherever this show is going the trauma is deffinately going to be following these people." That's it. That's the show.
  • Something relevant thing to notice: Vi and Powder saw their parents murdered by explosions. Now Powder is trying make pretty nasty bombs with her toys. She is a traumatized kid trying to imitate the "winner" to survive. Is heartbreaking. This happen often in real life, with children exposed to dire situations, they adopt the oppressor ways very fast.

I am so glad you immediately noted the parentification on vi, a lot of people ever see her trauma and her struggle and focus on powder’s. I am so excited to see the analysis on both characters on chapter 3! Thanks for the reaction

You should definitely do the whole season of this. It's personally my favorite show and I don't even play league. The characters are written with so much depth and complexity and there's a lot to unpack for almost all of them over the course of 9 episodes. The stellar animation also cements the depth by showing so much emotion just from their faces alone. Even though it's set in a fantasy world, a lot of the conflicts and situations are presented in realistic and relatable ways. This show nailed almost every aspect and every episode continues to push the narratives forward and keep you wanting to know what happens next.

I don't want to spoil anything, but I could see this show becoming a staple in psychology classes in the future. You'll see what I mean if you continue it.
  • I think one of the reasons everyone loves this show is more than the characters are so well written, characterized, and voiced. It is the artwork style that allows for amazing levels of expression and non-verbal communication to be expressed.

History lesson for this place: piltover and zaun were once 1 city called oshra va'zaun (thankyou person in my replies for the spelling) but in order to create a trade route (like suiz canal) over the river pilt the set up a BUNCH of bombs that led to 1 half sinking below (not sure if thats how it works but it sounds cool) and the undercity became toxic, poor and violent. This happened 1000~ years ago (just google runeterra map thats what their planet is called)
  • Please continue this series!! It’s really good!! I want to see a character analysis of a particular character. I’m being vague. I’ll let you know more when you get farther. I love watching your videos The educational videos on the psychology of everything so fun and interesting! Keep it up!
  • @lendondain1
Please continue this series. Episodes 1-3 should have been one episode because they are all exposition that sets up the rest of the show. If you're really going to address the mental health issues in this show, you won't really know what the show is about until you finish episode 3.
  • @porkadobo2444
Ah yes. Lets once again watch a masterpiece but with a professional therapist. I want to see her point of view and their mental health issues too.
  • This show is an absolute masterpiece from the story, to the animation, and to the soundtrack, and a lot of really REALLY great lines! I highly recommend you continue this show, the story never slows, and if anything just continues to build. This is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched, hands down.
  • This series is definitely worth continuing. The writers and animators put in a lot of work to make the characters very real in their emotions and behavior, so you'll probably have a lot to say about it. One thing I think you missed (that I missed on my first watch) is that Powder barely interacts with anyone other than Vi; where Vi is part of this big "family" with Vander as the father and all the kids as her brothers and sisters. Vi is shown both being sister and parent to Powder, and Powder really only responds to the other kids if they talk to her (or at her). Powder is often in the same scene as the "family", but almost all of her lines are exchanged with Vi, with a very few barbs traded with Milo. Other characters talk about Powder to Vi but mostly don't talk to Powder. The writing and animation in Arcane are so on point that I don't think it's a mistake that they put Powder in so many scenes with other characters but really not focussing on anyone but Vi in most.
  • Continuing would be great. I think you'll find that Arcane has a very enthusiastic community eager to hear people's interpretations of its cast of very complex characters, especially from a professional perspective.
  • @ThePunkina1
Those were both of thier parents that died at that riot that were killed by the enforcers just to clear that up I love your react of the series so far :>
  • @TheAfricanGrey

Oh and yes pls keep reacting to it!!! There’s so many things that happen in later episodes that I would love to hear ur thoughts on.
  • @glendoi
I would love to see your analysis of the characters and their growth throughout the series! Hope you keep it going!!
  • @juho1891
A humble plea to commenters: PLEASE NO SPOILERS! People aren't stupid, they can figure out what you're suggesting or hinting at, no matter how sly you think you are. I've seen too many reactors get spoiled by their comment sections.
  • @Sleawzor
Arcane is definitely a show that lends itself to a lot of rich psychological analysis. Would love to see more!
  • This series is just mind-blowing! I hope you continue to comment on this, it has a lot to unpack.
