My twist here is adding 6DOF MPU-6050 accelerometer and gyro sensor.
Servo motors are generally dumb and don't know their own starting position when they wake up. So one can't know where laser is pointing on start up. In the worst case, laser can be pointing right into your eyeballs. So you definitelly want to have controll over that one.
In this project, position reading will be MPU-6050's job.
There are tons of Arduino libraries for MPU-6050 out there, so one can complete this project quickly and easyily. I'll list libs in a Part #2/3
