Fluke 87V Calibration

I was doubting measurements on my old Fluke 87V and wanted to be more certain about its measurements. It was kind of Christmas present , the calibrated DMM. Just wanted to describe the experience and what you get.

It's great how you don't yell into microphone that is basically touching your tongue and how everything came out nice and clean..

Fluke 87 is the best multimeter I've ever used. At one of my jobs I used an older one for about 5 years, back in the early 2000s. It took daily abuse quite well. Never a moment of downtime. Even when battery got low usually you had plenty of warning before having to replace it. I have other meters, but I had to get an 87 again. I now have a personal 87-V. And I love it, it's by far my favourite meter. Nobody quite makes a meter like Fluke. And I think 87 series is their best, the perfect mix of ergonomics, ruggedness/protection and features.

Was there a cost for inspection? I'm assuming they would only cover the cost of repair but the inspection and shipping would be at your cost?

Have you ever check the meter itself to see how many times that meter been calibrated?

I have a question for you HitAndMissLab, you say you got the calibration free from Fluke...I tried getting it and they charge me 200$ for the calibration, same model than yours. What did I do wrong?

Good afternoon writes Danilo Technical sell and Repair Computers in Republic Dominiacana have a Fluke 289 in my work and suddenly not want to climb as if the Software is damaged, I have the test probe wants me a little hand and tell me which are the two keys to be left down to do a factory reset.
