This boss and its theme just feels like the biggest homage to wind waker And im here for it

3:32 I can see the composer having a huge grin on her face thinking like "they haven't heard nothing yet!" and proceeding to pop the f*ck off with that epic rendition of dragon roost island.

Now that's what I call an improvement over last game bosses
  • @starcourt1552
The Stormwind Ark was far and away the best dungeon in this game
  • @peacepaw21
THIS HAS NO FUCKING NEED TO GO THAT FUCKING HARD. I FUCKING LOVE IT
  • @andrewhembree4870
Seeing him ominously flying around in the Depths, then approaching him and this song starting to play again had me almost in tears. I love this game SO MUCH

This was an easy but fun boss, and I don’t have a problem with that. The design is amazing, the arena you fight it in is great, and this theme is just perfection. I love it.

hearing the dragon roost isle theme so triumphantly roar when you're joined by a rito child who also inherits the powers of a wind sage, just like Medli in wind waker... I teared up. Hell, even the boss itself looks like Gohma in dragon roost cavern!!
  • I like how in second phase we hear reverse instruments, like "there is no hope in this battle" and then in third phase Rito Village theme hits hard and telling "Link, you are not alone". So epic...
  • @dabizzle
3:32 gave me instant chills and goosebumps. hearing the rito village theme but more epic was so sick
  • Me being a musician myself the music in video games is what gets me deeply invested. This made me actually feel like I was in the sky fighting a giant creature.
  • 3:32 is the part that made me stop in my tracks and just be like “holy crap this music is amazing”, it just sounds so heroic, and Colgera’s design too is just so fricking cool
  • @boongis5138
Doing rito first was the best choice. Hearing this music was when it hit me how truly amazing this game is.

I was wondering why so many people were calling this the best song in the OST... Until I reached the part at 3:32. Holy crap. I was legitimately stunned when I first heard that part, it came out nowhere and gave me immediate chills when it hit. The first three minutes of the song are really good, but that part and everything after it is just absolutely incredible

I love the little nod IN THE MUSIC ITSELF that you're meant to dive through the gaps in Colgera's body, the piano from the skydiving theme fits in so well and yet is easy to pick out, fantastic.

This music to a boss fight brought nerdy tears to my eye. This boss fight was so good. I remember sitting in my living room, the lights off and the blinds drawn. This fight, whilst not too hard, was the most amazing thing I had ever experienced. The buildup of climbing, and then this majesty. Gah, I loved the Wind Temple.

Is nobody gonna talk about 2:30? That part is just…. Insane 😳
  • @mattmoore4701
When 3:32 hits and you’re diving through Colgera with Tulin flying by your side…one of the most memorable moments I’ve ever had in gaming
  • @Vaatacious
Easier than Windblight? Yes. More memorable fight? Miles ahead. While I love challenge, sometimes the grand scale, music and setting for such a battle leave a better, more positive impact, and this was so much more enjoyable than BotW's wind temple boss. So far my favorite boss in the game (only fought 2 though)

I wish I didn't finish the fight in 30 seconds so I could've discovered this ost while fighting the boss .. still gives me the chills listening to it now
