Anakin got too overwhelmed with the challenging relationships with his mother, his lover, and a dark mentor. Same for Malekith, but the three were the same person.

For sieges, it feels like some races (Empire/Dwarfs/etc.) should just have better defenses, while other races (Vampire Counts/Greenskins/Chaos/etc.) should have big advantages in attacking defenses. I don't think that every race needs equivalently effective defenses.
