What a wonderful gift you gave to the owners of the Viper. You restored it to even better than when they ever had it. Their emotions when they saw the finished product were gratitude enough for the excellent work you all did for them. You restored a car, but you restored their brother's memory!!!
  • @frankbob4043
Sheez, losing his brother and then 11 heart attacks, that's insane. The Viper turned out great, I hope this gentleman can get enough money together to fully restore this awesome machine!
  • So touching and epic momment at the last video. Make me follow to cry. Bravo, you are good man.

It’s amazing how much material things mean to people especially a sentimental one. It seems like he would have kept it in the barn to preserve it as much as possible. The family were very appreciative. Great job.
  • @PaperKiller79
As a viper owner (2003- 3rd Gen), it breaks my heart to see one in this state. Come on man, how much does it take to throw a tarp on the thing? BTW, this black example is a 1st Gen (1992-95) - No door handles, soft plastic removable windows, after-thought removable roof - a real bare-bones sports car - The “spiritual successor” to the Shelby Cobra.

You’ve given this family an opportunity to see the car in its former glory. There is obviously a family bond with this vehicle; their emotional expression says it all. Thank you for helping this family. It put a smile on my face this morning.

Spent many hours with Viper Engineers working on this vehicle. Loved everything and everyone associated with this iconic car. Glad you brought it back to life.
  • @storyracing387
Bumper to bumper restoration for sure! I was lucky to get a ride in one of these when they were new. It's a sound I've never forgotten!
  • @EllenTheArtist
I would try and keep it as much as in original state I could, and only replace whatever it needs to be replaced. I love the story behind this car, so emotional!
  • @pas-kv8ud
I HIGHLY recommend NOT letting a new/young driver drive that car. Old Vipers are not an easy car to drive/handle.
  • @Tony-ew5je
Hands down you did a great job for a viper left outside for 2+ years. A good paint job a couple of clear coats & the Dodge Viper is back in business!!!
  • the fact that he’s alive outweighs everything in this video. God bless and congrats on the resto
  • @mikethatguy27
Poor guy!! You can tell he was ashamed of the condition and probably blames himself😔.... But wow look what you guys did! Absolutely gorgeous!😍
  • @srajustin
Looks great. I remember how amazing this looked back when it came out. There was a red one on the showroom floor all roped off. I think the design still looks good for a 28 year old car.
  • @kikiza123
what a beautiful thing to do, for him and the car. my late step dad had a viper when i was in elementary school. i was a little girl so i really didnt appreciate it then. i do remember the seatbelts being on the inside, on the left for the passenger. wonderful job <3
  • I'd restore it from top to bottom. Have it repainted reclear coated. Replace the rugging in grey and put a hard convertible top instead of the soft top it will protect the inside better. I think that's what the brother should do. That would honor the other brother. Keeping it in disrepair isn't a way to honor the brother. Also I think the speakers will have to be replaced. Also all those dash pieces are gonna have to be replaced or painted. Have the engine looked over check for any rust on it as well as the chassis or other suspension systems.
  • @coyote_f150
These are the people that need to be YouTube famous. The happiness you bring into people lives with your work and compassion. Keep going guys!
  • These cars mechanically are bulletproof and relatively easy to work on for the level of car it is. Definitely on my bucket list.
