I interviewed Slash back in ‘98 for Gitarre & Bass and I have to honestly say he was the coolest dude I ever interviewed. Super friendly. Super down to earth.

I was 16 and worked in a record store when Guns and Roses released their first album. We decided Slash had the hat, hair, and glasses, because he was wanted by the FBI and was so cool, he hid on stage, touring the world. "And he would have got away with it if it wasn't for us meddling kids!"
