Me: Watching in 2x speed to learn python in 37 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • @lescoe
Tim: This video is not for beginners. Also Tim: Here's how to download Python.
  • @willemvdk4886
Being a Python programmer myself, I'm very much impressed with this video. I think you covered almost everything in less than 90 minutes. Impressive. I approve! haha
  • @cybermage99
Coming from Java and C, the lack of Semicolons simultaneously pleases me and disturbs me to my core.
  • @coderrishav
In the speed of C you taught Python, BTW thanks for this video
  • @chadforte2572
I'm a now retired software engineer. I used primarily Java from the mid 90's until 2016. I like to keep up with all things technical, and I've noticed that Python is making huge gains in a number of areas and uses. I first came across a highly rated Python video like this, but it was 4.5 hours long. This video was exactly what I hoped to find. Very concise, not presented too fast at all for a seasoned vet of the trade. I've subscribed and will check back often. Thank you! Chad
  • @emmanuelleallen
No-one will read this, probably. But i wanted to put it here to motivate the guy who thinks he cant do it. I'm a complete begginner, Novice. Ive never code a thing in my life. I'm a green Newbie. or atleast I thought I was. I've been self teaching for a few weeks, but very very slowly. And I decided to watch this video to help introduce me to all the concepts, so that I have some exposure before i actually begin to learn them. But I'm at the 30 minute mark, and there is VERY little that I've not been introduced too. And now he's moving onto else/if/elif, and ive learned this already too. I just feel really accomplished, because it's something Ive always wanted to do, but never really gave myself permission to do.
  • @Knuddelfell
Who else already know most of this, but still watching this (:
  • @markpadley890
Excellent revision tool for anyone with previous Python experience but needing a little refresher. I particularly like the annotations on the timeline at the bottom of the screen, which makes picking and choosing topics simple and convenient - great stuff Tim
  • @TrollingMyLawn
This video was awesome. I've been trying to back to coding after getting slowed down by my depression. You laid this out very simply and covered a lot of things way better than other resources. Thank you so much for this video!
  • @dhanesh7556
Finally, a tutorial that I can have fun watching and still learn the language with ease and concentration... thanks Tim, this is exactly what I need
  • I love how eloquent and concise you are with your presentation. There are a lot of youtube programming "teachers" but no one who duplicates your streamlined and balanced approach.
  • @4TH4RV
I wish this video existed before :p, it's probably best for people who have basic knowledge of programming but want to preview syntax and stuff
  • @_omorewo
I've been looking for a way to refresh my memory on python (without going through 6 hours of tutorials) since I haven't done anything with it after learning it about a month ago... Thanks Tim💞💞😊
  • @nickelj1993
I'm very impressed the fact you were able to condense that much information into an hour long video good job mate !
  • What an amazing video this is!. Thanks Tim for the work you put in and let us have access to such free but important content
  • @Gigusx
This is a great primer! Coming from Javascript and wanting to explore Python, the last thing I'd want to do is a tutorial for people just beginning to program as opposed to one focusing on syntax and intricacies of the language. I imagine that to complete beginners some things were very confusing, but people with experience appreciate this format. Thanks!
  • @mrCetus
Thanks man, I've gone on a long break, so I forgot many essential stuff in Python, and when I tried to take a course, most of them were very slow and decades long, they were very boring and easy but this one is just a really good revision course.
  • Your examples are very well thought out, they often show 2 or 3 potential outcomes of various problems at the same time. I love how you construct scenarios that show us how the code reacts in a variety of ways. Thanks for your thoughtful lesson design
