Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murthy on July 30 congratulated shooter Manu Bhaker for winning the bronze medal in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event in Paris Olympics 2024. She said that everyone should be proud of Manu Bhaker as she hails from a small town and won a medal at her first ever Olympics. "... I admire Manu (Manu Bhaker) a lot because she comes from a small town and went to the Olympics for the first time and won a medal. This is something everyone should be proud of... it is hard work that has brought her here. I congratulate her," said Sudha Murthy.
