In the bigger scheme of things, the alleged plot of Captain America: Brave New World can also explain why Sam never tried to get involved in Secret Invasion. Part of the Skrulls' attempt to take over Earth was their plan to pit the USA and Russia against each other. Given his stint as Captain America, it's odd that he seemed unbothered by the brewing global crisis in the Disney+ show. If Ross is really benching him, then it could explain why Sam didn't try to help Nick Fury.
Only time will tell if this Captain America: Brave New World rumor is actually true. If it ends up panning out, however, it's difficult not to agree with fans in saying that this narrative has been done before. Considering how long it has taken for Sam to return to the MCU since The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, he deserves more than a tired storyline for his first movie.

Tony having The Infinity Gauntlet knew all this thus prepared his return and lets Hope the return of Steve Rogers and Wanda. Steve is in a regeneration process like Wonderman in the comics was and being a Nexus Being Wanda power has done the same for her.

I love how the first line is "Steve's sacrifice was supposed to make the world a better place." When actually no it wasn't. In fact he didn't sacrifice himself at all. He went back in time to do a job and then he for once in his life took the selfish choice. It was the opposite of a sacrifice.

I grew up reading the books Captain America, when Kirby did the art work. Masterful simply a work of art, as was everything Kirby did. So I speak from living the experience of paying 12 cents for my first Cap book number 100. Mackey is an okay actor, but he's no Chris Evans, and Falcon in the comics was okay but in the movies he's no Captain America. Chris Evans brought that the character of Captain America to life, full stop.
