Ugh William Hurt was so good as Ross!! He perfectly demonstrated that he cared about the safety of the country but would be absolutely willing to go morally grey for that sake. He was so sharp and intimidating.

Considering that the MCU version of the Multiverse is where all other TV shows and movies have spawned from, it's possible that there is some part of 616 that stayed true in the Fox X-Men universe.

Marvel comparing this to Winter soldier scares me slightly because I believe it’s one of the better marvel films they’ve ever made. That being said, if they can achieve it I will be incredibly impressed and extremely hopeful for the future of Marvel.
