The inner smile you get when you know you are on the right path
-
You don't normally hear conversations like this...refreshing.
-
The life story of Robert Downey Jr. is truly inspiring and teaches you that you can only be your own savior.
-
“My whole life is a dream” I wish I could repeat that statement about my life
-
The greatest thing about Joe is his ability to listen. Not a simple thing.
-
Charles Dickens said, “The whole difference between construction and creation is exactly this: that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists.” Great show & interview :-) cheers

This podcast is getting bigger everyday.

joe dying to ask him if he ever used DmT

Robert Downey Jr. had one of the greatest career comebacks in recent Hollywood history in my opinion.
-
I love how this show is two incredibly cultured people just chilling and talking, this is amazing.
-
When two genuine men collide, this beautiful conversation happens
-
Imagine the feeling of accomplishment when you hear RDJ finds it unreal to have a talk with you.
-
RDJ has had one hell of a journey man. I've been a fan of his since watching Weird Science and Less Than Zero as a teen back in the 80's. Watching him rebuild and reinvent himself over the decades has always been inspiring for me and that's completely aside from enjoying his works. I even spent a few years practicing Wing Chun, like RDJ, as a way to help heal myself of depression and anxiety. I'm not really a "fan" of many people, but he's firmly on the very short list.
-
I like it when two men compliment each other
-
Robert Downey's Iron solid discussion of making a DECISION to be sober was the most powerful "go to" for me (when struggling) to stay sober.
-
The whole time, Joe's brain is going "don't talk about drugs, don't talk about drugs, don't talk about drugs, don't talk about drugs..."
-
1:27 "But when it happens, whether it happens with love or with friendship or with a career or with the path you're taking - you just know, there's a smile - there's an inner smile like, 'yeah, this is it, I found this, I'm supposed to be doing this, here we go'" Right in the feels, Joe. One of the most memorable things I've ever gotten out of you.
-
I appreciate RD Jr. introspection and brutal honesty. His recovery is to be admired.

“The flow” where you let go and are carried by the stream. Walking on air not a care. This is central idea in eastern thought
