This has to be the first time I've ever seen Christopher Nolan engaged in an actual conversation where he's genuinely smiling and laughing.

I laughed multiple times during this. The line where RDJ says if Nolan was directing Avengers we would still be shooting it is gold

RDJ is like a Golden Retriever, he just fits in with everybody. Always making friends, taking their fun sides out and make everyone smile and giggle.

Nolan is notoriously famous for avoiding interviews, so having RDJ bring out a more fun side to him is really heartwarming.

"Just remember, this was someone's idea to pair us up." I don't know if they were faking it or not. But this was one of the best interviews I've enjoyed. Maybe because Mr.Nolan is so very serious all the time.

This is proof that RDJ did not just play himself as Iron Man, but he actually had to tone himself down to play Tony Stark, which must've taken a tremendous amount of effort and restraint.
