Anna Holland and Phoebe Plummer, both 22, caused as much as £10,000 worth of damage to the artwork’s frame, prosecutors say, when they targeted it at London’s National Gallery in 2022.
The duo were found guilty of criminal damage by a jury after three hours of deliberations at Southwark Crown Court.
Talk's Ian Collins is joined by commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, who says it's "about time" the activists were sentenced.

Says it all when the mother of the young woman sent to prison recently is complaining that she will miss her brothers wedding,no thought of the people that missed funerals,hospital appointments,getting to work,and general upset due to her daughters actions

Coincidence? Labour win power judges start handing down decent sentences. If the Tories had won they would have got community service.

It’s about time Common Sense as returned to the Courts at least it’s a start to normality.
