Videos online appeared to show a handful of demonstrators with their faces covered, throwing eggs at Rochdale police station on Thursday night.
The family of the man are particularly shocked by what happened because some of their family members are police officers, newly elected Rochdale Labour MP Paul Waugh said after speaking to them.
The footage, filmed at Manchester Airport’s terminal two on Tuesday, appeared to show an officer kick and stamp on the head of a man who was lying face down on the floor, with a woman kneeling beside him.
The video also appeared to show the officer strike a second man.
Earlier on Talk, Ian Collins grilled Akhmed Yakoob, lawyer of the Manchester Airport stamping victim, on what preceded the viral video that showed the incident.
Alex Phillips accuses lawyer Akhmed Yakoob, who represents the family of the Manchester airport stamping victim, of wanting to create havoc: "You're not just there behind the scenes trying to get justice, what you're trying to create is insurrection."

IF YOU HATE OUR COUNTRY SO MUCH - JUST F LEAVE!!
-
Citing BLM so you know their intent…
-
Your clients refused being searched and kicked off then assaulted the police woman and tried to grab their gun! Stop playing the victim card all the time...
-
I don't have a problem with the guy getting stamped on at all, but then I was brought up to understand that if I don't want my head stamping on, don't pick a fight with a police officer. As for the reporter getting angry over how he reacted, you make me laugh. You literally complained about how you didn't feel safe anymore, and now the police are behaving how they are meant to, you complain. 🤦♂️ Police force, meaning that they can use force to inforce things. Grow up and grow a pair. If you don't want a kicking, don't break the law.

Justice for the female police officer who had her nose broken by an excuse of a man, we don't hit women in this country full stop.
-
Breaking a policewoman's nose is illegal She was assaulted
-
Having these people in our country costs us way too much money. They are very expensive.
-
"We don't want George Floyd incident in U.K." - a passive agressive threat if ever I heard one.
-
Attacking 3 police with a greater number of attackers, in an international airport is terrorism.
-
Lawyer is a political activist who wants a big payout and create another BLM. In court this man must need an interpreter.
-
So the police got this guy on the floor and gave him a good kicking for no reason whatsoever? Yeah right.
-
How about the police officers who were assaulted. Are these people going to be charged with assault??.
-
The guest should be deported with the rest of them with his clients.
-
Nothing racist about what happened in the airport, but the lawyer and protestors are clearly racist. Anyone acting like the Pakistanis in the airport, regardless of race/religion, would be dealt with harshly. And why haven't those who attacked the police been charged with assault and GBH?
-
So he wants ALL the officers to face criminal charges, and just like that, one police officer is facing criminal charges!! Go figure!
-
The police woman and the other two men should sue them all for assault and damages !
-
It wasn't an overreaction. Policing in this country is too soft. Attack the police, expect to be attacked back.
-
The man should be sent to prison for assaulting the three police officers what the lawyer is saying is totally irrelevant he says he hasn't even seen the cctv hes a joke trying to stir up racial hatred 😮
-
Is that really a lawyer? what a pathetic piece of work.
-
😡😡😡Get this stirring lawyer 😜 off air. He is trying to cause trouble.
