High blood pressure is a common condition in which the long-term force of the blood against your artery walls is high enough that it may eventually cause health problems, such as heart disease.

Blood pressure is determined both by the amount of blood your heart pumps and the amount of resistance to blood flow in your arteries. The more blood your heart pumps and the narrower your arteries, the higher your blood pressure.

You can have high blood pressure (hypertension) for years without any symptoms. Even without symptoms, damage to blood vessels and your heart continues and can be detected. Uncontrolled high blood pressure increases your risk of serious health problems, including heart attack and stroke.

High blood pressure generally develops over many years, and it affects nearly everyone eventually. Fortunately, high blood pressure can be easily detected. And once you know you have high blood pressure, you can work with your doctor to control it.

In this video we will look at a new research that shows a promising new lifestyle modification to reduce high blood pressure.

I cured my hypertension by eating very healthy and most of all losing the weight. In just 2 months I got off my meds. my blood pressure was 140/90 or 150 /90 .. now it's 110/70 :) 🙏
  • Two weeks ago my blood pressure was 212/128 and I was taking extra blood pressure medicines. I started walking 5 miles every day. I changed my diet completely and this morning my blood pressure is 108/67 and I am completely off of blood pressure medicines. I can teach anybody to do the same. Stop all alcohol consumption. Stop eating all foods that convert to sugar like bread, rice, and potatoes, and stop your intake of salt. Increase your intake of avocados, walnuts, pistachios, hemp seed, and a high polyphenol count olive oil, eat lots of fish that is high in omega 3 oils, and green leafy vegetables. Consume 1 teaspoon of pure cocoa daily. Also, take a high-fiber supplement that is pure like psyllium hulls. Do not over-consume water. Do not take Metamucil as it does contain psyllium hulls, however, it also contains other ingredients that are really bad for your intake. The first week you will feel bloated from the high-fiber diet, however, that will pass and the high fiber will lower your cholesterol. Another benefit you will receive is your arthritis (which is only inflammation) will go away. High blood pressure can be completely controlled by diet. I hope this helps and good luck to you. Bottom line. Lower your sugar intake, increase your fiber intake and lower your blood pressure. it's that easy!

A walk around the block lowers blood pressure and insulin levels by 15. I always walk around the block at my Doctor’s before an appointment.

Yes that works but walking 20 minutes a day also helps, eat garlic with lemon, take magnesium and potassium, don't stress, avoid smoking and alcohol. Try to exercise, avoid white salt and sugar.

Doctors always mention salt but they never mention (sugar) sugar and sweeteners are 10 times worse than sodium

When we change the way we think, we change what we experience. Change your diet. Exercise. Keep hydrated. Stay away from stress.

High blood pressure is an early warning of the senses within the immune system that it registers as something abnormal, not a disease that can be treated. All the things that revolve in your mind throughout the day have things that may affect the health of your body, so the immune system sends warnings that may cause you discomfort such as lack of sleep, feeling hot and headache, and it translates electronically into numbers, which is high blood pressure numbers. So when you are comfortable and do not feel stressful, your numbers will be normal. Or when you drink a glass of wine or beer or sleep for long stings and wake up fresh

Intermittent fasting Meditation Diet Hydration Moderate exercise Stress management Keep these thing checked before starting pills if these dont work go for secondary causes of hypertension

People who sleep well at night, eat good natural unprocessed foods, vegetables (minus animal products) and sleep well always have excellent blood pressure.
  • A nap after lunch always makes me feel much better. I usually sleep a solid 8 hours each night as well.
  • @gracemcleod4768
This is absolutely 100 percent correct, I just realize this after my nap over the years.
  • @savrocks4256
Why is there no permanent cure for hypertension yet ? Is it that there is lot of money involved in the sale of the BP meds ?
  • @magaman6353
An even newer study shows that taking a mid-day nap will get you fired....unless you're a politician - in which case you can sleep all day.

I would say that their is a connection between the increase in high blood pressure rates and the rise in obesity in the US, when you have the combination of Obesity and high blood pressure this is what kills, high blood pressure on it's own doesn't kill so much, it's akin to Covid-19, if you are fit and healthy you have nothing to worry about , but if you are obese or have heart problems etc etc then your chances of dying from Covid-19 are much much higher! it's the same with BP, if you have underlying health issues then HBP will have a bigger impact on your outcome !
  • @bigboy1982
The best cure for hypertension is lifestyle change... Exercise, low carb keto diet, no carbs if possible, more on protein, fiber, and fat ..eliminate rice, sugary foods, starchy foods, foods high in carbs...get enough sleep
  • Please make video on neuroanatomy.... It will be very helpful 😊
