Melanie was at the park one day and saw alphabet boy. she joined him to play dollhouse. they all made up and played a game called tag you're it. little did they know, they were invited to a pity party by mad hatter and were forced to eat milk and cookies along with cake. they escaped and ran to the carousel in a carnival where Melanie took off the training wheels on alphabet boy's bike. the two of them had a disaterous play date when they were being chased by a gingerbread man and melanie was caught trying to pacify her friend. her mom dragged her into the bathroom and washed her mouth out with soap, and forced her to drink alchohal out of a sippy cup. she felt she wasn't perfect so tried to get advice from mrs. potato head. her friends eventually stopped talking to her and she was known as crybaby. I love the meaning of this song! I hate it when people say Mealnie can't turn things like kidnapping or pedophilia into songs, because no one talks about these things and they are a part if our world's reality. It's not a happy song and I totally love listening to it because it makes me feel secure for a reason
