WARNING: This is an opinion lol Tik Tok did NOT ruin this song, It gave it the recognition it deserved. People are arguing that "They don't wanna hear their favorite song too much", but that's not more important than Mel getting the recognition she deserved all along. Fake crybabies aren't much of a problem, because I've seen quite a few fakers inform people of Mel, leading those people to become genuine fans. I know because I learned about Mel from someone who claimed to be the biggest Crybaby ever, but they only knew dollhouse. I personally think that Tik Tok is making Mel more popular, which she deserves. Just because she may not care, and is probably only making music for enjoyment which I love, does not mean she doesn't deserve the WORLD knowing her name. I actually revisited this song after seeing it on a Tik Tok, and remembering that it was my favorite. I was so obsessed with K-12 that I wasn't listening to this song as much, and now my friends are mad that I listen to it too much- (I tell them all to strea playdate at least 2 times a day) I don't see the problem with listening to your FAVORITE song too much, especially if you hate Tik Tok so much. If you hate it, you probably don't have it. Another thing that isn't a problem is people coming from Tik Tok. No one that i've seen is making a "wHo cAmE fRum tik Tok" comment, because no one cares.
